1. 100% On-Device Processing

LucidPDF is designed with a strict privacy-first philosophy. We do not process, upload, or store your PDF documents on any external servers. All operations—including markup, ink signatures, measurement, redaction, watermarking, page management, compression, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR)—are performed 100% locally on your Mac or iPad using Apple's native frameworks.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect personal information. The app does not require account creation or login. To improve app stability, we may collect anonymous, privacy-respecting crash reports that contain no document data or personally identifiable information.

3. Purchases

LucidPDF is free to download. LucidPDF Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase processed securely through Apple's App Store (StoreKit). It is a Universal Purchase, so a single payment unlocks Pro on both Mac and iPad. We never have access to your payment or billing details.
